Sheridan dropped a Hoosier Heartland Conference game at Eastern, 30-28 on Friday.
The Comets led 12-5 after the first quarter and 17-11 at halftime. The Blackhawks stayed within striking distance after three quarters, as they were behind 24-17. Nolan Buckner had four points in that period. Sheridan outscored Eastern 10-6 in the fourth, but couldn’t catch all the way up.
Buckner led the ‘Hawks with 10 points. Nick Roberts and Ethan Moistner both pulled five rebounds, while Kyle Eden dished out four assists.
Sheridan is 1-2 in HHC play and 3-3 overall. The Blackhawks are off until Saturday, Dec. 28 when they play two games at the Western Classic.
