Foster Success to host Taste of Thanks fundraising event

Foster Success invites the public to celebrate the holiday season on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at its annual Taste of Thanks event in support of the organization’s FriendsGiving campaign. The event takes place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion, 12156 N. Meridian St., Carmel.

Foster Success impacts the lives of teens and young adults transitioning out of foster care every day by empowering them to reach their potential through programs focused on education, health, employment, and more. Taste of Thanks kicks off the annual FriendsGiving campaign, which supports Foster Success programs throughout the year.

This fundraising event includes music, holiday-inspired food and drinks. This year’s keynote address is from a Foster Success participant. Chelsea is a LEAD Ambassador with Foster Success and Lead Customer Service Representative at Fifth Third Bank. She has been a Peer Presenter for two years, and is heavily involved in workforce readiness programs, specifically the Works Wonders® Workforce Readiness program. Chelsea will share her journey from early adulthood to breaking cycles and finally to becoming a support person for others doing the same, all while highlighting the impact Foster Success has had on her life.

Taste of Thanks will be held at the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion located at 12156 N. Meridian Street in Carmel. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event should wrap up around 9 p.m. Taste of Thanks is sponsored by Rehab Industries, Lumina Foundation, The Heritage Group, Proof Digital, Lilly Endowment Inc, and Taylor Advising.
