June 12, 1956 – October 10, 2026

Mike C. Bentley, 70, Noblesville, died Saturday, October 10, 2026.

Born June 12, 1956, in Noblesville, Mike was the second oldest son of Marilyn (Cook) and Willard Bentley.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Jill (Harper) Bentley; his daughters Audrea, Nicole, and Jessica; his son Michael; his grandchildren Dace, Ayla, Paul, Daniel, Ashley, Beverly, Cameron, and Ethan; and his brothers and sisters, Pam (Bentley) and Ted Brown, Willie Bentley, Robin (Bentley) and Tom Collins, Jason Bentley, Cindy (Bentley) and Buddy Coverdale, and Thomas and Julie Bentley; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by: John E. Bentley, Jane Ann Bentley Leeper, Wilma Kay Bentley, Jerry Bentley, Karen Bentley, David Bentley, James Bentley, and Carl Bentley.

Mike proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine. He later served his community as an officer with the Noblesville Police Department and then as a deputy of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department. Of the many roles he held in his life, his service to his country and his community were the two professional accomplishments he held highest.

Mike was a loving brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his family. But above all, he loved his wife and best friend.

Mike was always focused on helping those around him, with an ever-present willingness to give to others who were in need. He requested not to have a traditional funeral. Instead, he asked those whose lives that he impacted celebrate him in their own way, and to honor his memory through acts of generosity to those in need.

The Bentley family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Home with Mike’s care.
