Trine University recognized its 2026 Homecoming court as well as its king and queen during the annual Thunderstruck Pep Rally in the MTI Center on Friday, Oct. 2.
Carly Hutcherson, a senior from Arcadia, was crowned Homecoming queen. An exercise science major in Trine’s direct-entry 3+3 Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program, she is the daughter of Jeanne and Joe Hutcherson.
Active in campus leadership and student life, she serves as vice president of the Pre-Occupational Therapy Club and social chair of Gamma Phi Epsilon sorority, and is a third-year dancer on the High Voltage Dance Team. After this year, she will complete her doctoral studies at Trine University’s Brooks College of Health Professions in Fort Wayne, with plans to specialize in pediatric occupational therapy.
