On Sunday, Oct. 11, Mudsock Rugby won the 2026 Indiana Fall 7s championship in Elkhart, Ind., defeating Carmel 33-22 in the final and finishing the season undefeated at 13-0.

Across those 13 matches, the team scored 448 points while only allowing 142. Those numbers tell part of the story. Behind them are young athletes who put in the work, learned to trust each other, and represented the Fishers community with heart and determination. They faced tough opponents throughout the season and finished the job together.

“As a coach, I’m proud of the championship, but I’m even prouder of the players who earned it,” Coach Sam Hawkins said. “I’d love to give our community the opportunity to celebrate them and recognize the families and volunteers who support this program.”
