Tara Anker promoted to Partner at Michael Graves

Michael Graves, an award-winning architecture and design firm, announces the promotion of Tara Anker, AIA, to Partner in its Noblesville studio.

“Tara has been an important part of our team for the past decade, bringing strong design instincts, technical expertise and thoughtful leadership to every project,” said Darren Peterson, AIA, Managing Principal of the Noblesville studio. “She has earned the trust of her colleagues and clients alike, and we look forward to the impact she will continue to make as a leader of the firm.”

Anker joined Peterson Architecture, now part of Michael Graves, in 2016 as an architectural designer and project manager. She began her career in interior design before pursuing architecture, giving her a valuable perspective on how buildings function and how people experience the spaces within them. She became a registered architect in Indiana shortly after joining the firm and has continued to take on increasing leadership responsibilities within the Noblesville studio.

Before joining Peterson Architecture, Anker worked with several architecture and design firms in Chicago and Massachusetts. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, magna cum laude, from Endicott College and a Master of Architecture with an emphasis in Interior Architecture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is also affiliated with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
