Terry Dean Harrison

Terry Dean Harrison, born on March 28, 1947, in Noblesville, and residing in Freedom, Ind., peacefully passed away on September 20, 2026.

A loving and devoted individual, Terry was a beacon of generosity and reliability to those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a thoughtful man, always considering the needs and feelings of others before his own.

Terry spent 30 dedicated years working at General Motors in Anderson, where he was valued as a reliable and hard-working factory worker. Even in his retirement, Terry remained active, relishing the opportunity to pursue his passions. A lifelong NASCAR fan, Terry rarely missed a race, whether he was attending in person or watching from the comfort of his home. His collection of firearms was a testament to his appreciation for craftsmanship and history. His hobbies also extended to the great outdoors, as he loved camping and vacationing in Florida and Alabama. Terry had a deep love for the country lifestyle, something he cherished all his life. He was an active member of the Cicero American Legion for many years and continued his participation in the Worthington American Legion after moving south.

Terry was a caregiver and a loving son to his parents, Dallis and Alice Harrison, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his companion of 40 years, Linda Graham, with whom he shared many cherished memories. He also leaves behind his stepdaughters, Shari (Tony) Rowell and Darci Bennett; step-grandchild, Jon Graham Jr.; half-brother, Harry Woodruff; nephew, Tony Woodruff; great-nephew, Dustin Woodruff; and great-nieces, Brittney Woodruff, Morgan O’Keefe, and Courtney Miller.

In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by his nephew, Michael Woodruff. Terry’s generosity, love, and thoughtfulness will be greatly missed by them and all who knew him.

Terry’s wishes were to return home and to have a private burial in Arcadia Cemetery. Terry’s care and burial are under the direction of Hartley-Dunnichay Funeral Homes in Cicero.
