Carmel & Keystone Group to celebrate 15 years of Sophia Square

The City of Carmel will partner with Keystone Group to hold a special Neighborhood Pop-Up event from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, in the Sophia Square courtyard at 110 W. Main St.

This collaborative community celebration brings together three major milestones into one dynamic evening: a local Neighborhood Pop-Up, Carmel’s 50th Anniversary, and the 15th Anniversary of Sophia Square.

“Sophia Square has been a cornerstone of our Arts & Design District for 15 years,” Mayor Sue Finkam said. “We are excited to partner with Keystone Group to combine these celebrations into a lively evening for our community members, local business owners and guests.”

The Neighborhood Pop-Up will take place alongside the anniversary festivities, fully integrating its signature neighborhood programming into the evening’s schedule. Attendees will enjoy complimentary local catering provided by Monterey Coastal Cuisine and Ambrosia (formerly Josephine) available for a set period during the event, along with live music and special giveaways hosted by Sophia Square tenants.

The event will also feature brief remarks from Mayor Finkam, Keystone Group Founder and Owner Ersal Ozdemir, and Carmel City Councilor Teresa Ayers.
