Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville receives grant from Sheehan Charitable Foundation

The Tom & Soni Sheehan Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville (BGCN) recently received a $50,000 grant from the Thomas P. and Sondra D. Charitable Foundation, a fund of Hamilton County Community Foundation, in support of scholarships and its transportation program for the 2026-27 school year.

“We are incredibly grateful to The Thomas P. and Sondra D. Sheehan Charitable Foundation for their continued investment in the youth of Noblesville and Hamilton County,” BGCN Executive Director Becky Terry said. “Their generosity helps ensure that local kids have a safe, supportive place to belong each day, while giving them access to meaningful programs and opportunities that help them learn, grow and reach their full potential. This partnership is an investment not only in our Club Kids, but in the future of our entire community.”

The Foundation’s support will help provide reliable transportation to the Club, removing barriers that prevent youth from participating in after-school programs. It will also fund scholarships to ease the financial burden for families in need. Over the past year, 526 youth and teens utilized the Club’s transportation services, while 173 families received financial assistance and scholarships.

“My parents believed in the power of community and the importance of creating opportunities for others,” said Tracey Sheehan, Board Chair of the Thomas P. and Sondra D. Sheehan Charitable Foundation. “Through these grants, we are able to continue that legacy by helping organizations like the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville remove barriers and provide more young people with the chance to learn, grow, and build great futures.”
