Free performances of Shakespeare’s classic comedy run Sept. 16-19 at Federal Hill Commons

The Noblesville Cultural Arts Commission will celebrate the 34th annual Noblesville Shakespeare in the Park with William Shakespeare’s uproarious comedy The Comedy of Errors, Sept. 16 to 19 at the Amphitheater at Federal Hill Commons, 175 Logan St. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and are free and open to the public.
The longest-running Shakespeare in the Park production in Central Indiana, Noblesville Shakespeare in the Park brings live theater to the community in an outdoor setting each fall.
The Comedy of Errors follows two sets of identical twins who were separated years earlier and unknowingly find themselves in the same city. When the twins are mistaken for one another, a simple reunion quickly turns into a whirlwind of mistaken identities, jealous spouses, wrongful arrests, accusations, and comic misunderstandings.
The production is directed by Jen Otterman and produced by Ka’Lena Cuevas. The creative team also includes Assistant Director and Stage Manager Rob Heighway, Light Designer Eric Matters, Lighting Operator Lori Raffel, Sound Engineer Clay Howard, Costumer Linda Findley Grow, Costume Assistants Scott Fleshood and Angela Osman, Properties by Jen Otterman and Rob Heighway, and Jay Herold is part of the run crew.
The cast includes Logan Laflin as Antipholus of Syracuse, Nathan Haston as Antipholus of Ephesus, Nathaniel Taff as Dromio of Syracuse, Adrian Blackwell as Dromio of Ephesus, Phoebe Aldridge as Adriana, Adriana Menefee as Luciana, David Shaul as Egeon, Jennifer Wagar as Abbess Aemilia, Kevin Caraher as Duke Solinus, Scott Blackwell as Angelo, Kelli Conkin as Merchant, Angela Osman as Courtesan, Aaron Ploof as Pinch, and Rob Heighway as Jailer.
Audiences are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics and enjoy an evening of live Shakespeare under the stars. No tickets are required.
