Northview Church deployed 100 staff members into flood-impacted neighborhoods across Central Indiana to walk the streets and bring essential supplies directly to families in need.
Staff members fanned out across several communities, including Ravenswood in Indianapolis, Riverwood and Claire Avenue in Noblesville, and Northwood Hills, South 122nd Street, and Hoster Road in Carmel. Teams walked door to door, distributing hygiene kits, cleaning kits, bottled water, and meal kits to families still recovering from the devastation left behind by recent flooding.
A significant portion of those supplies came through a generous partnership with Convoy of Hope, who donated:
- 57 meal kits
- 378 hygiene kits
- 124 cleaning kits
- 96 packs of 40-count bottled water
Beyond the physical supplies, staff stopped to pray with families as they handed out resources, offering encouragement and hope to those carrying a heavy load. One moment that stood out came when a family shared that they were in desperate need of a dehumidifier. A Northview staff member personally made the delivery, meeting that family exactly where they were.

Northview is also actively partnering with other local church communities to multiply the impact of this work. Because when churches come together, more families get served, more streets get walked, and more neighbors get loved. There is more ground to cover, and we believe the best way to cover it is together.
Any remaining supplies from today’s outreach will be directed to Northview’s Anderson Campus, where on Saturday, August 15, Northview partnered with Convoy of Hope to serve families hit hard by the flooding in that area. Nothing will go to waste, and every resource will find its way to someone who needs it.
“There are so many stories from today,” said a Northview team member. “Lives were touched in ways that are hard to put into words. Handing out supplies was the least we could do, but we know this is a long road ahead. Northview is committed to walking alongside these families not just today, but in the months of rebuilding that are still to come.”
How you can help
The need is ongoing, and Northview is actively restocking supplies to head back out into the communities. On Aug. 29 and 30, Northview will hold packing parties at selected campuses to assemble cleaning kits. You can also contribute by purchasing items directly from the Amazon Wish List.
Every item donated helps Northview replenish stock and continue serving the communities that need it most.
