Cancer Care Cup celebrated its 10th annual Golf Outing on July 30, raising $35,628 to support oncology patients across Indiana.

The annual event brought together golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and community supporters for a day focused on making a meaningful difference for individuals and families facing cancer. Funds raised through Cancer Care Cup will provide financial assistance to Indiana oncology patients experiencing financial hardship during treatment, as identified and referred by their oncology social workers.

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make our 10th Annual Golf Outing such a success,” Cancer Care Cup President Branden Voegerl said. “Raising $35,628 means we can provide much-needed support to oncology patients during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and donors continue to show what is possible when a community comes together with a common purpose.”

For the patients who receive assistance, that support can provide much-needed relief when unexpected expenses become overwhelming.

“Cancer Care Cup was able to support me when I was unable to cover my rent after my surgery. I’ve been on FMLA and my check was not enough to cover, and they helped make sure I did not fall behind. It was a huge relief to not have to stress about how I was going to get caught up with late fees.” – Oncology Patient

Cancer Care Cup is grateful to the sponsors, golfers, volunteers, donors, and supporters who helped make this year’s event possible. Their generosity directly contributes to providing assistance to Indiana oncology patients when they need it most.
