A ribbon cutting five years in the making

Chariot Automotive Group’s Academy dealership celebrating five years of community involvement

Locally-owned Chariot Automotive Group’s Academy dealership, 6002 W. Field Drive, Tipton, is celebrating five years of community involvement and customer success with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20.

Chariot will continue the celebration with a free, family-friendly community “Cruise In” in partnership with the JackWagon Car Club from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22.

In addition to its automotive sales and service efforts, Academy is the flagship dealership location of Chariot Automotive Group’s ATEP (Automotive Technician Education Pathway) program, which provides Indiana high school students with hands-on technical training for college credit. By combining classroom learning, real-world experience, and industry-recognized credentials, ATEP creates a clear, affordable pathway from high school to career. Thus far, the program has served approximately 150 students from 13 schools.

This celebration is more than recognizing a car dealership; it’s a reflection of our commitment to community and continuous education through the ATEP program.”

Chariot has been integrated into Tipton and its surrounding communities through charitable efforts like Cross America and hosting blood drives in partnership with the Red Cross.
