Compass Investment Services welcomes Rick Elsbury as Financial Advisor

Compass Investment Services, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC, located at State Bank, announces the addition of Rick Elsbury as Financial Advisor.

Elsbury brings more than 18 years of financial services experience and a longstanding commitment to helping individuals, families, retirees, and business owners pursue their financial goals. He began his career in community banking, specializing in business lending. He later transitioned to financial advising, where he spent nearly two decades helping clients build financial confidence through personalized investment strategies and comprehensive financial planning.

Throughout his career, Elsbury has focused on developing meaningful relationships and understanding what matters most to each client. His approach centers on transparency, integrity, and personalized guidance, helping clients protect their lifestyles, prepare for retirement, fund important life goals, and create lasting legacies.

Elsbury joined Compass Investment Services in 2026 and will provide clients with access to comprehensive financial planning, retirement planning, investment management, and wealth preservation strategies through Ameriprise Financial.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Elsbury has a long history of community involvement. He has served with Lebanon Kiwanis and has held board positions with the Boone County Senior Services Foundation, Boone County Chamber of Commerce, and United Way of Central Indiana Boone County.

He and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Boone County with their children, Grace, Logan, and Aidan.
