Tipton County Public Library to host author visit with Dr. Alex Kor & Graham Honaker

At 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 27, the Tipton County Public Library will welcome Dr. Alex Kor and co-author Graham Honaker at the Main Library, 127 E. Madison St., Tipton, for a free, community-wide author event.

Dr. Kor and Honaker will speak about their powerful book, A Blessing, Not a Burden, which chronicles Dr. Kor’s unique journey as the son of Holocaust survivors, Mickey and Eva Kor, and shares their inspiring legacy of resilience and the power of forgiveness. Dr. Kor will also share how the life lessons learned from his parents helped him overcome hardships in his own life, including confronting antisemitism and a cancer diagnosis.

This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Tipton Library. The Friends group will have a table at the event with information about the organization, and attendees can sign up for a chance to win a copy of the book.
