The annual Morse Reservoir Cleanup took place Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18. A total of five-and-a-half dump truck loads and one dumpster load of debris were removed from the reservoir.

On Friday, a volunteer team from Duke Energy cleaned the public docks near The Boathouse and Red Bridge Park. Two three-axle dump trucks of debris were sent to Green Cycle for recycling.

On Saturday, the community collected three-and-a-half dump trucks of debris and filled a dumpster full of trash.

The Town of Cicero provided a front-end loader and operator to fill the dumpster and trucks.

The Morse Waterways Association chain saw crew cut the long stuff down to size.
