Democratic nominee for Indiana State Treasurer Coumba Kebe announced on Tuesday, July 7 that State Representative Cherrish Pryor (D-Indianapolis) will serve as a co-chair for her statewide campaign.

Rep. Pryor, who serves as the House Democratic Caucus Floor Chair and is a prominent member of the House Ways and Means Committee, brings extensive legislative leadership and deep roots in central Indiana to the campaign team.

The endorsement marks the second major campaign co-chair announcement for Kebe, whose platform focuses on three core pillars: Accountability, Transparency, and Security. Rep. Pryor highlighted Kebe’s background in public health and corporate compliance as critical assets for protecting working families and expanding state-level financial transparency.

“Hoosiers deserve to see exactly how their public dollars are working for them,” Rep. Pryor said. “Coumba Kebe has spent her career navigating complex budgets and strict regulatory compliance. I am proud to co-chair her campaign because she will pull back the curtain on state finances and give working-class families the transparency and clarity they deserve.”

Rep. Pryor’s addition to the campaign leadership team underscores Kebe’s growing momentum across Indiana following her official nomination at the Indiana Democratic State Convention last month.

“I am incredibly honored to welcome Representative Pryor to our team as a campaign co-chair,” Kebe said. “Representative Pryor is a fierce advocate for economic fairness, housing stability, and public education infrastructure. Together, we will work to aggressively expand wealth-building tools like the CollegeChoice 529 program so everyday Hoosiers can take real steps toward generational financial stability right here in Indiana.”

With Rep. Pryor anchoring the campaign’s leadership in central Indiana and Rep. Earl Harris Jr. serving as co-chair in Northwest Indiana, the Kebe campaign continues to build a robust, statewide operation focused on fiscal accountability and community wealth. The campaign will announce its final regional co-chair next week.
