Cicero Town Council Vice President Dennis Johnson said the following about Jim Hunter receiving the Sagamore of the Wabash:

Whether leading local initiatives, mentoring young people, or contributing to statewide projects, Jim’s positive impact is both broad and deeply felt.
“In addition to his service, Jim’s character is defined by kindness, humility, and a tireless work ethic. He approaches every challenge with creativity and compassion, inspiring those around him to strive for excellence and to serve others. His dedication to the values that make Indiana great is evident in all that he does.”
