October 25, 1943 – June 24, 2026
Howard “Ferb” Williams, 82, Arcadia, passed away on June 24, 2026. Howard was born on October 25, 1943, in Noblesville. He was a dedicated and witty individual, known for his smart solutions and supportive nature. Howard was a beloved father, grandfather, and brother, whose love for his family was surpassed only by his passion for farming.
Howard married his beloved wife, Teresa, on October 21, 1965, and they shared a beautiful life until her passing. He spent his professional career as a diesel mechanic, demonstrating his intelligence and ingenuity daily. After retirement, Howard found joy in his hobbies. He loved farming, enjoyed gardening and beekeeping, and liked going to auctions. His wit and charm were always on display, especially when supporting his grandchildren in their activities, particularly 4-H. His dedication to his family and farming was evident in all he did, and his memory will be cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Howard is survived by his daughter, Shay (Gary) Plumer; son, Jayson Williams; grandchildren, Nicholas (Nick) Plumer, Hayley Williams, Alexander Plumer, Samuel (Caroline) Plumer, and Jayden Williams; and sister, Niomi (Dallas) Hester. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Williams Sr.; mother, Helen Williams; and wife, Teresa Williams.
The family has chosen to have a private graveside service for Howard, and all services are under the direction of Hartley-Dunnichay Funeral Homes – Cicero.
We invite all who knew Howard to share your memories and upload photos to the memorial page. Howard’s life was filled with moments that made him the wonderful man he was, and we look forward to celebrating him in your stories and photos.
