Hamilton East Public Library (HEPL) is inviting local businesses to participate in its annual “Show Your Library Card & Save” campaign, a community-wide initiative that celebrates National Library Card Sign-Up Month while connecting residents with local businesses.
Taking place throughout September, the campaign encourages community members to sign up for a library card – or rediscover the one they already have – and visit participating businesses to redeem special offers available exclusively to HEPL cardholders.
Now entering its third year, the campaign has proven to be a successful partnership between the library and local businesses.
“Library Card Sign-Up Month is an opportunity to celebrate one of the most valuable cards in your wallet while also supporting the businesses that help our community thrive,” HEPL Director of Marketing and Communications Kelsey Sweet said. “We’re excited to partner with local businesses to encourage library use, strengthen community connections, and drive residents to explore what Hamilton County has to offer.”
Businesses that participate create a special offer for library cardholders during September. In return, HEPL promotes participating businesses through its website, social media channels, email newsletters, and other campaign materials. Offers can include discounts, free items with purchase, special promotions, or other incentives determined by the participating business.
Local businesses interested in participating can learn more and submit an offer at this link.
To be included in the printed Discover Guide, businesses should submit their offers by June 22. Offers received by Aug. 10 will still be included in the campaign’s digital promotions.
