Horizon Bank announces Susan Hargrove as Hamilton County market president

Robert Avery, Regional President – Central Indiana, announces the promotion of Susan Hargrove to Market President – Hamilton County.

Since joining Horizon Bank in 2013, Hargrove has steadily advanced through a series of leadership roles, including Business Banker, Commercial Loan Officer, Senior Commercial Loan Officer, and most recently, Group Manager. With more than 20 years of banking experience, she brings a strong track record of performance, team leadership, and community engagement to her new position.

“Susan’s leadership, industry expertise, and commitment to our clients and communities make her an excellent fit for this role,” Avery said. “We are excited to see her continue to grow and strengthen our presence in Hamilton County.”

As Market President, Hargrove will focus on expanding Horizon’s footprint throughout Hamilton County and the northeastern suburbs, while continuing to build strong client relationships and support local economic growth.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Hargrove is deeply involved in the community. She previously served as President of the Indianapolis chapter of IndyCREW and currently serves as a board member for the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Real Estate Advisory Board.
