Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County has named Tricia Hudson as its new executive director and chief executive officer. She will lead the organization’s mission of serving the elderly or those with disabilities facing food insecurities or unable to prepare food for themselves, for both short- and long-term needs in Hamilton County with dignity, reliability, and care.
Hudson brings decades of nonprofit leadership experience to the role with a professional background spanning human resources, accounting, finance, and executive management. Her career path evolved from CFO leadership positions into organizational leadership focused on building sustainable nonprofit infrastructure and mission-driven growth.
“I have always wanted my work to help bring about life change for people, and Meals on Wheels does just that,” Hudson said. “I have a passion for mission-driven work because I want my time and skills to contribute to something bigger than financial profit. I want my work to have a tangible human impact.”
As executive director and CEO, Hudson is responsible for the overall vision, direction, and management of the organization, including oversight of programs and services that ensure seniors and adults with disabilities receive quality nutrition support and compassionate care.
Hudson earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University and a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University. She is also a certified QuickBooks Pro and received the Excellence Award in Management Communication from Western Governors University. Hudson graduated Summa Cum Laude from Colorado State University.
Originally from southern Missouri, Hudson moved to Indiana in 1991 and now resides in Fishers. She is active in the Hamilton County Nonprofit Collective, the Hamilton County Executive Directors group, the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce, and the OneZone Chamber of Commerce.
Outside of work, Hudson enjoys gardening, the arts, Broadway productions, symphony performances, football, and spending time with family. She is also passionate about adoption and child welfare causes and has participated in numerous mission trips both nationally and internationally.
Hudson was married for 32 years to the late Todd Hudson, former pastor of White River Christian Church in Noblesville. She is the mother of five adult children and grandmother to two.
