Williams Creek Management is partnering with the Westfield Parks and Recreation Department for upcoming events focused on outdoor recreation, sustainability, and ecological stewardship.
Williams Creek’s mission has always been to enhance livability, strengthen infrastructure resilience, and improve the quality of life in the communities in which individuals live, work, and play.
“As a valued long-term partner, we take great pride in working alongside the City of Westfield to shape the natural spaces that define this vibrant, fast-growing community,” Williams Creek President and CEO Neil Myers said. “We are proud to serve as the Environmental & Parks Programming Sponsor for several upcoming initiatives at two locations we helped create and continue to sustain: Grand Junction Park & Plaza and Simon Moon Park.”
Westfield residents are invited to join Williams Creek and the Parks and Recreation Department this season to experience these spaces through environmental education, recreation, and community engagement:
- Green Day: Saturday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grand Junction Plaza
- Creek Stomps: Every Thursday, May 28 through July 30 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Grand Junction Plaza and the Wetland Amphitheater
- Fishing with Friends: Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to noon at Simon Moon Park
“Westfield Parks and Recreation values our long-standing relationship with Williams Creek as they continue to provide amazing installation and maintenance services for all our native planting areas,” Parks and Recreation Director Christopher McConnell said. “We are now incredibly excited to strengthen this relationship and bring Williams Creek on as the Sponsor of our environmental programming for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.”
