Don’t miss this: Songbook Academy alum Sadie Cohen to make special appearance with Michael Feinstein

This Friday, April 17, two-time (2024 and 2025) Songbook Academy® alumna and Carmel native Sadie Cohen will return to the Payne & Mencias Palladium stage for a special appearance with Songbook Founder Michael Feinstein at his upcoming concert with special guest Sandi Patty.

Performing since age 7, Cohen has built an impressive resume, appearing with renowned theaters such as Indiana Repertory Theatre, Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, and Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre, where she will soon appear as Chava in Fiddler on the Roof.

Now a junior at Carmel High School, she sings with the national award-winning Ambassadors show choir and serves as the 2026 Miss Capital City’s Teen through the Miss America Opportunity. Her leadership was recently recognized by the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis, naming her one of its “18 Under 18.”

Cohen’s appearance underscores an evening rich with Songbook Academy connections. A participant in each of the past two years, she will join Feinstein – who remains a central presence throughout the week as founder, mentor, and emcee – and Patty, who served as a guest mentor in 2012 and 2013.
