The Hamilton Heights softball team couldn’t have started off its weekend any better. On Friday, April 10, the Huskies hosted the Taylor Titans and cruised to a 15-0 win in five innings.
Five hits and five walks helped propel Heights to 10 runs in the first.
Another run scored in the second when Heather Crays walked to score Kaitlyn Schakel to make it 11-1.
The Huskies scored another four in the fourth to put the game away early for the double-digit victory.
Addi Gerber struck out eight in three innings and Olivia Mackey fanned four in her two frames. The two combined to not only no-hit the Titans, but pitched a perfect game and only threw 58 pitches between them.
