On Thursday, March 12, students, staff, and grown-ups gathered in the early hours of the morning for “Donuts with Grown-Ups.”
This biannual event gives students and their families a chance to come together and share a special morning together before the day gets on its way. Twice a year, the Sheridan Elementary PTO sponsors this event as an opportunity for SES students and their grown-ups to visit the school, enjoy a light breakfast, and spend quality time with their students.
Held in the SES cafeteria, the atmosphere is always full of laughter and smiles as students spend a special morning with their favorite people.
“Donuts with Grown-Ups has fast become a family favorite, as our fantastic PTO now hosts one each semester!” Principal Valerie Roberts said. “This allows all our K-5 families to visit our school and enjoy a special morning at school!”
Donuts with Grown-Ups is both a chance to have a sugary treat and an opportunity to build memories that will last.
