The Carmel Small Business Network (CSBN), sponsored by State Bank, is entering a new chapter this year. The Carmel Redevelopment Commission (CRC) will now be hosting the CSBN meetings, bringing a refreshed format to the long-standing community staple while maintaining its core mission of connecting local entrepreneurs.
The first meeting of 2026 will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 at the Carmel Fire Department Headquarters, 210 Veterans Way. Come to network, connect directly with Mayor Sue Finkam and City staff, listen to speakers relevant to small business owners, and enjoy free lunch provided by State Bank.
There is no cost to attend, but registration via Eventbrite is required.
“Small businesses are the heartbeat of Carmel’s economic engine,” CRC Executive Director Henry Mestetsky said. “By hosting these meetings, we aim to provide a more robust networking and informational experience.”
This month, CSBN will welcome Don Wettrick, CEO of the STARTedUP Foundation. He will detail how innovation at Carmel High School is preparing students for the future – and how early engagement plays a critical role in long-term business succession planning right here in Carmel.
About the Carmel Small Business Network
The CSBN was created to foster a strong relationship between the City of Carmel and its small business community. Through regular meetings, the network ensures that local owners are the first to know about infrastructure projects, marketing initiatives, and economic growth strategies.
