The Indiana Builders Association (IBA) Board of Directors has elected its 2026 senior officers, including Marcy DeShong of Midwest Remodeling Services in Pendleton as president. She will serve as the association’s 74th president.
DeShong is the co-owner of Midwest Remodeling Services and a long-time leader within her local association and IBA. She is well known for her commitment to member engagement and industry advancement.
“Marcy is a dynamic leader whose passion for this industry is evident in everything she does,” IBA CEO Rick Wajda said. “As our chief spokesperson in 2026, she will champion workforce development and work with lawmakers to protect housing affordability for Hoosiers.”
Also elected were Andrew Brindley of H-E Homes in Indianapolis as Vice President, D.G. Asay of Heidorn Construction in Chandler as Treasurer, and Hank Kidwell of RJ Builders in Terre Haute as Secretary.
DeShong expressed enthusiasm for the year ahead.
“It is an honor to serve as President of the Indiana Builders Association,” she said. “I am committed to strengthening our workforce pipeline and ensuring housing remains accessible and affordable for families across Indiana.”
The 2026 senior officers will guide the association’s mission and support key initiatives shaping the future of housing in Indiana.
