Step into a world of wonder this holiday season with Metropolitan Youth Ballet’s enchanting production of The Nutcracker.
This year’s performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21. All performances will take place at the STAR Bank Performing Arts Center, 1000 Mulberry St., Zionsville.
Follow young Clara and her Nutcracker Prince on a magical Christmas Eve adventure – from a festive family celebration at the Stahlbaum home to a thrilling midnight battle with the Mouse Queen and her mischievous mice. Journey through the sparkling Kingdom of Snow and arrive in the deliciously whimsical Land of Sweets, where dazzling dances from around the world await.
This timeless holiday tradition features all your favorite characters – the mysterious Drosselmeyer, the elegant Snow Queen, Mother Ginger and her playful Gingersnaps, and of course, the radiant Sugar Plum Fairy and her noble Cavalier.
With lavish costumes, Tchaikovsky’s unforgettable score, and inspiring performances by MYB’s talented pre-professional dancers and special guest artists, this is more than a performance – it’s an experience you will treasure for years to come.
