On Thursday, Dec. 4, OfficeWorks and MillerKnoll will play host to the 29th annual We Care event at the Lilly Boys & Girls Club of Indianapolis.
This long-standing tradition brings together children, volunteers, and the Central Indiana Architecture & Design (A&D) community for an afternoon centered on creativity, connection, and holiday cheer.
We Care has become a beloved annual celebration for Boys & Girls Club members, offering meaningful moments of creativity and joy during the holiday season. OfficeWorks and participating A&D firms will lead crafting stations where kids can create handmade gifts, such as ornaments, cards, and picture frames, to share with their loved ones.
“This event is a meaningful example of how a community can come together to uplift and inspire,” OfficeWorks President Larry Martin said. “For nearly 30 years, We Care has brought designers, volunteers, and families together to create something bigger than any one of us. Watching the kids light up with excitement reminds us why this tradition matters. It is a chance to bring joy and connection to these children.”
The holiday spirit continues on Wednesday, Dec. 10, when the OfficeWorks team visits the Keenan-Stahl Boys & Girls Club of Indianapolis to deliver handcrafted gifts and activity kits prepared by staff and volunteers. Filled with art supplies and seasonal projects, the kits provide even more children an opportunity to make their own holiday memories.
We Care remains a powerful example of how businesses and community partners can work together to support local youth, spark creativity, and strengthen community ties year after year.
