Lindsay Gramlich announced on Friday, Nov. 14 her intention to seek election for House District 39 in November 2026.

Gramlich currently serves as President and CEO of Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls, breaking down barriers, expanding opportunities, and helping them realize their full potential. She is deeply engaged in the life of Hamilton County as a civic leader, PTO volunteer, and active participant in central Indiana’s nonprofit and educational landscape.

Gramlich says she believes it is time to cut through the noise and refocus on local and state decisions that truly matter for the community – championing strong public schools, supporting working families and affordability, ensuring access to health care including mental health resources, honoring the checks and balances at the heart of our Constitution, and protecting human rights, especially for women and girls.

“You will see me around Carmel, at school drop-offs and pick-ups, cheering for my children at their activities, or biking and exercising on the Monon Trail,” Gramlich said. “I am running as your neighbor because I care deeply about the future we are building together.”

A graduate of The Stanley K. Lacy Leadership Fellowship and Mitch Daniels Leadership Fellowship, Gramlich is committed to being a leader who listens. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University, a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University, and has over 15 years’ experience in philanthropy in central Indiana. Gramlich lives in Carmel with her husband, three young children, and two rescue dogs.

Community leader Josh Lowry, Chair of the Hamilton County Democrats, shared his excitement about Gramlich’s decision to run for House District 39.

“District 39 needs a representative that cares about the people that live in District 39,” Lowry said. “Lindsay has proven through her career and volunteering that she is always working to improve her community. She will bring that exact same focus to the General Assembly.”

Lindsay Gramlich and her campaign are hosting a campaign launch party at Woodland Country Club from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16. To learn more about Lindsay, please visit click here.
