Community First Bank marks Veterans Day with action, not words

Since 2015, Community First Bank of Indiana (CFB) has marked Veterans Day not just with words, but with action. What began as a grassroots effort of raking leaves, cleaning gutters, and performing minor yard work for local Veterans has grown into a cherished tradition that brings employees together in service to those who served.

In 2020, when COVID-19 restrictions made free lunches scarce, the CFB team launched a free meal service to ensure Veterans still felt remembered and appreciated. Since then, participation and impact have only grown.

This Veterans Day, CFB continues the tradition by offering a complimentary tenderloin meal from Swayzee Loinz. On Nov. 11, Veterans are invited to stop by Swayzee Loinz at 7241 E. 146th St., Unit 100, Carmel, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CFB will be onsite handing out vouchers for a free tenderloin lunch while supplies last.

CFB’s Veterans Day tradition reflects a deep commitment to community and gratitude for those who served. CFB looks forward to honoring Veterans again this year. Please call (765) 236-0600 with any questions or visit CFBindiana.com/veterans.
