The Fishers girls soccer team moved on to the semifinals of Class 3A Sectional 8 at Hamilton Southeastern on Tuesday.
The Tigers beat Pendleton Heights 2-0. Elise May and Rena Sawada both scored one goal for Fishers, with Iris Martin making one assist.
The Tigers are 7-8-3 and play Muncie Central in Thursday’s first semifinal, which starts at 5:30 p.m.

Sheridan, the No. 11 team in Class 1A, beat Alexandria 10-0 in the first round of Sectional 38 at the Blackhawks’ field.
Sheridan takes on Lafayette Central Catholic in the first semifinal Thursday, beginning at 5 p.m. Rossville and Faith Christian play the second semifinal, which starts at 7 p.m.

Guerin Catholic, ranked No. 14 in Class 2A, fell to No. 8 Bishop Chatard 1-0 in the first round of Sectional 26 at Park Tudor on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles finished their season 3-12-2 against one of the toughest schedules in the state.
