Noblesville Schools had great first day back Wednesday. Here are some highlights of what’s new this year:
- New English Language Arts curriculum and materials across all schools
- New high school expansion opens with enhanced facilities for STEM (science, technology, engineering, math), performing arts, cafeteria space, large group meeting space and more. The public is invited to the Grand Opening from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 7.
- Noblesville Schools will be celebrating 100 Years of the Millers throughout the school year
- New graduation diploma beginning with the Class of 2029
- New Noblesville Schools financial website Dollars + $ense to share more information about how school finance works and where your tax dollars are being spent
- New welding program starts at NHS
- Expansion of college credit and workforce development options at NHS
- New middle school computer science course
- New athletic building at Noblesville East Middle School
- New teachers and staff across the district
