Carmel golfer Karis Reid is still a couple weeks away from entering high school, but she’s already proving that she’s good under pressure.
Reid, an incoming Greyhounds freshman, won the Girls Masters Tour Championship Monday at Rock Hollow in Peru. Reid scored 78, one stroke ahead of second place. Reid made birdies on the 15th and 16th holes to help secure the victory.

Myra Sealey, an incoming Noblesville freshman, tied for fourth place with 81. She also made two birdies, on the 16th and 17th holes.
In the Masters boys division, Carmel junior-to-be Patrick Wolf tied for fourth with a one under par 71. Wolf totaled five birdies in his round. Carmel’s Preston Roberts and Noblesville’s J.T. Kelley both scored 76; Kelley made two birdies.

A handful of county players competed in the Junior Tour event at Chestnut Hills in Fort Wayne Tuesday.
In the Boys 13-15 division, Noblesville’s Dalen Rippy was part of a four-way tie for second with a score of 78. Fishers’ Henry Adams placed eighth with 82 and Noblesville’s Caleb Seaman tied for 12th with 86.
Noblesville’s Peyton Kauzlick placed third in the Girls 16-19 division with 78.
Carmel’s Benjamin Meece and Westfield’s Sean Hess both tied for 15th in the Boys 16-19 division with 82, while Fishers’ Kaiden Sullivan tied for 18th by scoring 83.

Several county players were in action Tuesday at Highland Lake in Richmond Hills.
Noblesville’s Dustin Turpin won the Boys 16-19 division, scoring a one under par 71. Turpin made four birdies.
Carsen Fegan of Fishers won the Boys 11-12 division, with 79.

Turpin traveled to the Junior Tour stop at Sunrise Golf Club in Madison Wednesday. He placed second in the Boys 16-19 division with a one under par 71, making five birdies.
Carmel’s Luke Moore won the Boys 11-12 division with a three under 69. Moore made five birdies, including four in a row to finish his round.
Noblesville’s Audrey Phillips placed fourth in Girls 13-15, scoring 98.

Turpin claimed victory in the Junior Tour stop Thursday at Tippecanoe Country Club in Monticello. Turpin won Boys 16-19 with a score of 74, making four birdies. Fishers’ Kaiden Sullivan tied for sixth with 80, making two birdies.
Fishers’ Kendall Manion won Girls 13-15 with a score of 86, while Westfield’s Lilley Ku won Girls 16-19 with 83.
In Boys 13-15, Dalen Rippy tied for seventh with 82 and Carmel’s Malachi Cole placed 11th with 85.
