County gets four wins on Day 1 of AGS

Indiana Swimming’s second major meet of the month is under way, as the 2025 ISI Age Group Long Course Championships began Thursday at the IU Natatorium.

The first day of action consisted of timed finals in the 13-14 age group. Both Carmel Swim Club and Fishers Area Swimming Tigers picked up two wins out of the eight events that took place.

Carmel’s Haley Morris won the Girls 1500 freestyle, clocking in at 17 minutes, 39.72 seconds and leading a 1-2-3 finish for CSC. Sydney Ermel was first in the Girls 50 breaststroke, with a time of 34.08 seconds.

Fishers got a victory from Audrey Wolf in the Girls 50 butterfly, finishing that event in 28.25 seconds. Zara Paton won the Girls 50 backstroke with a time of 31.02 seconds.

The Age Group state meet runs through Sunday. Here are a list of top 16 Hamilton County finishers in each event.
