The fair is almost over – depending on how horribly slow the Post Office is this week, maybe it’s over by the time you are reading this – and our coverage is not nearly complete. Hamilton County Television (HCTV) has been livestreaming almost everything from the mission control van that we still say looks like Darth Vader’s mancave.
Grace Green and Alexander Webster have been on assignment at the fairgrounds since day one.
Sports Editor Richie Hall has gotten in on the action in a genre-bending trip through dog agility, square dancing, clogging, and more.
Robert Herrington, a 4-H pater familias, has loaned us his exceptional eye for photos and newshound nose this year.
Even our bookworm publisher got in on the action with some photos and color commentary.
The forthcoming 4-H Results Special Edition is going to be something truly special, and all the credit goes to other people. First and foremost, to the 4-H families who do all the work all year long in preparation for this.
Of absolutely equal importance are all the folks at Purdue Extension Hamilton County who hide behind the scenes and make certain everything goes off without a hitch – except in those cases where literal hitches are needed.
