Crowd-funding group looks to build on success
The Fishers Century Club will mark its fourth anniversary at its upcoming quarterly meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, continuing its mission of using the power of numbers to bring community members together to learn about and support local nonprofit organizations.
Since its founding in June 2021, the Fishers Century Club has raised and donated over $50,000 to impactful charities serving the community. The Club meets quarterly to hear brief presentations from 501(c)(3) organizations, followed by a vote to award funding to one deserving recipient that evening.
“We’re incredibly proud of what the group has accomplished over the past four years,” Club Founder Adam Kallick said. “It’s proof that when a group of guys make a small commitment, by combining the power of giving with the strength of local network connections, it leads to a BIG impact for our community.
The June 24 meeting will be held at The Club Coworking | Knowledge Service’s premier event space at 9800 Crosspoint Blvd., Fishers. It will feature pizza, drinks, and desserts, as the Club celebrates its milestone and continues its tradition of community, conversation, and giving. New members and guests are always welcome.
The men’s crowd-giving organization meets quarterly to hear from three charities that the club attendees pitch, and ultimately vote to select a winning charity.
