Duke Energy and Bright Star Touring Theatre partnered to bring a live performance of “Cinderella & Prince Charging” to White River Elementary School in Noblesville on Wednesday morning.
Through this 25-minute show, professional actors taught students about energy conservation through an engaging and informative live theater sketch.
In this fresh take on the classic fairy tale, Cinderella is surprised by the amount of energy being consumed by the Prince and his castle. Determined to help save her community, she enlists the help of the audience – and the willing Prince – to bring energy-saving solutions to the kingdom.
Following the performance, if a parent or guardian of a child who viewed the show is a residential Duke Energy customer, they can request a free energy efficiency kit to not only supplement the concepts their child learned during the show, but also help them save energy and money on their electric bill.
