Get ready for Peony Happy Hour at Brunch & Blooms

By KELLY McVEY
President, Indiana Peony Festival, Inc.

It’s happy hour in Noblesville … peony happy hour that is!

We have some awesome – and quite tasty – peony-themed cocktails and mocktails to showcase from some of our participating Brunch & Blooms locations. Whether you’re popping in for brunch or grabbing a DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) drink to go, we recommend trying these three crowd favorites to complete your peony experience.

Courthouse Club will offer a special cocktail through the entire month of May to highlight the Peony Festival: The Dragon Blossom. This delicious cocktail is vodka-based with dragon fruit, lime, and cucumber with a frozen cucumber flower as an ice cube. Additionally, they’ll be open for brunch on the day of the festival and will have new outdoor seating to enjoy.

Rosie’s will offer both a peony-themed mimosa and a mocktail (they like to call it a mim-less-a). Rosie’s will make their famous sugar cookies and will offer a variety of festival-themed sugar cookie designs. Menu specials this weekend will include a peony-themed brunch item. Stop in for a mimosa or a breakfast sweet treat before starting your day.

Chapter Book Lounge, a new bookstore to downtown Noblesville, will offer “The McVey” signature cocktail. This tasty cocktail is created in honor of Indiana Peony Festival Co-founders Kelly & Lindsey McVey. It’s a pretty peony, negroni-lite that is as delicious as it sounds. Plus, Chapter Book Lounge will have 10 percent off of all non-fiction books for the entire weekend.
