Ryan Hudson-Peralta promotes accessibility beyond ADA requirements
A consultant who conducted an accessibility audit at Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts will share ideas for accommodating people with disabilities in a free public presentation at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, at the Payne & Mencias Palladium.
Born without hands and unable to walk, Ryan Hudson-Peralta hasn’t let his disability stop him from becoming a father, husband, designer, inventor, actor, business owner, international speaker, and disability advocate for over 30 years. His consulting agency, Equal Accessibility, offers ideas and tools for businesses to provide inclusive experiences for their disabled guests and team members.
Equal Accessibility recently conducted an audit for Allied Solutions Center, attending performances and inspecting the three-venue campus to assess how the organization can work beyond the basic requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act to ensure that every individual, regardless of ability, can enjoy a more equitable and enriched visitor experience.
Admission to the talk is free, but registration is required at TheCenterPresents.org/RyanHudsonPeralta.
