Ronald Lee Fisher

d. April 26, 2025

Ronald Lee Fisher, 76, Sheridan, passed away on April 26, 2025.

Ron was a Marine Corps veteran who proudly served his country. After his military service, he retired from Delco Remy/General Motors, where he was known for his strong work ethic and love of his family. He was also a valued member of the Sheridan American Legion Post 67, where he enjoyed comradery with fellow veterans.

Ron wore many hats in his lifetime – volunteer firefighter, EMT, school bus driver, craftsman, and community member – but his greatest joy came from the simple things. He had a passion for woodworking and gardening, and loved the freedom of the open road on his Honda Goldwing motorcycle with his wife Janet. Ron never met a stranger and was well-known for his quick wit, infectious laugh, and warm personality.

Ron was a man of faith who attended Six Points Church in Sheridan.

He was a loving grandfather to Kylee, Zander, Madison, Dimitri, and Marc, and his legacy lives on in their hearts. Ron is survived by his devoted wife, Janet; daughters, Brandi (Myxl) and Traci (Joel); and many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.

Calling will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Sheridan Six Points Church, 1545 W. 226th St. Funeral services for Ron will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Sheridan Six Points Church. Burial will follow at Crown View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s (michaeljfox.org).

Steve Fisher with Newcomer Cremations Funerals Receptions is honored to serve the Fisher Family.
