Carmel Christkindlmarkt, Inc. (CCI) won two awards from the Indiana Tourism Association (ITA) during the organization’s 2025 Indiana Tourism Awards on Tuesday. A panel of out-of-state judges appointed by ITA selected winners based on creativity, innovation, and maximization of budget across several categories.

CCI received the Best Event/Festival award in the attraction category based on a wide variety of criteria, including festival goals, execution of the event, and return on investment. The other nominees in this competitive category included the Conner Prairie Headless Horseman Festival and Holiday World & Spalshin’ Safari’s Friday Night Live! event.

CCI also received the Best Digital Marketing Campaign award in the attraction category for the Market’s 2024 season social media campaign. The campaign achieved outstanding metrics, meeting ITA’s award criteria for return on investment for the budget, total overall impact and engagement among digital audiences, execution of campaign goals, visuals, and more. Other nominees in this category were Huber’s Orchard & Winery’s Starlight Distillery digital ad, the Wabash County Museum’s Giving Tuesday campaign, and Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari’s Good Gravy! digital video campaign.

“We are incredibly honored to have received these awards,” CCI President and CEO Maria Adele Rosenfeld said. “We could not have done it without our amazing team of staff, volunteers, and other supporters. Thank you to everyone who made this recognition possible. We have come so very far since our humble beginnings in 2017!”

ITA presented both awards based on Carmel Christkindlmarkt’s 2024 season. Opening day for the 2025 season is Nov. 22.
