Build BW, a leader in construction and development, has announced Troy Woodruff as Chief Growth Officer.
Woodruff joins co-owners Dustin Frye and Brad Battin, complementing their expertise in construction and development with his strategic growth experience.
While Woodruff has always been an owner and part of Build BW’s foundation, his new role marks an exclusive focus on the growth and impact of Build BW. Woodruff is responsible for strengthening client relationships, developing employees, and driving growth.
“At Build BW, we’re not just committed to delivering exceptional work; we’re dedicated to building partnerships that stand the test of time,” Woodruff said. “I’m excited about working alongside a team that values collaboration, transparency, and doing what’s best for both our clients and the communities we serve.”
Previously, Woodruff served as CEO of RQAW | DCCM, where he helped scale the firm from a nine-person team to nearly 140 employees, increasing revenue from $500,000 to over $23 million annually. His ability to drive business growth, assemble high-performing teams, and navigate industry challenges have made him an undeniable leader in AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) industries.
Build BW has experienced significant growth over the past decade, with a strong focus on Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) construction projects, particularly in the municipal and public safety sectors. The company’s work includes jails, police stations, and fire stations, as well as projects in commercial, retail, mixed-use, and multi-family development.
One notable project currently underway is the $85 million Hamilton County Public Safety Center. Build BW is the construction partner and delivering the project via BOT.
Additionally, BW’s development division recently announced its will develop a $30 million restaurant and retail space at The Crossing at Fishers District, home to the new Fishers Event Center. This 35,000 square-foot development will introduce new dining and retail options to the growing entertainment district.
