Pamela Anne Wilson

April 2, 1957 – February 15, 2025

Pamela Anne Wilson, 67, Noblesville, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis, comforted by her daughter and son-in-law.

She was born on April 2, 1957, in Evansville, Ind., to Sam Pearson and Barbara Litherland (McEllhiney). She was an alumna of Purdue University and a member of Delta Gamma sorority.

Pam’s career and personal interests spanned many avenues. She began her career as an engineer at Bell Technologies. Realizing quickly that she was passionate about computer technology, she began her own IT consulting firm while also happily spending several years as a mathematics and technology teacher and tutor. Later in her career, she was a proud employee of Eli Lilly and Dow AgroSciences, working as a systems analyst, developer, and data analyst.

After being diagnosed with renal failure at age 33, Pam was a kidney transplant recipient twice over in her lifetime, navigating complex medical issues while she continued to devote herself to family, friends, work, and faith. She performed this challenging juggling act for a remarkable 34 years, from her first transplant to her final days.

She had a deeply held faith and found comfort and community attending services at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville. Pam loved quilting and couples date nights. She treasured time spent traveling abroad with friends and cheering on the Colts at home with Rand and the crew. She was a doting grandmother, cooked often for loved ones, and was always up for a chatty game of cards with the girls.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Randall Wilson; her daughter, Laura Armstrong (Mikael); and her beloved grandchildren, Ava and Mac.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., with services at 2 p.m., on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. A private burial will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation of Indiana, 911 E. 86th St., Suite #100, Indianapolis, IN 46240 (kidneyindiana.org).
