The Conners’ deep-rooted ties to Hamilton County and passion for healthcare inspired this contribution. Greg, a 2001 Noblesville High School graduate, grew up in Noblesville and currently serves as President of Vanderlande North America, a Toyota Automated Logistics Company. Lisa, originally from Rahway, N.J., has called Indiana home for many years. She pursued her passion for healthcare by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Ball State University. She has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Riverview Health since 2012.

“Healthcare is an extremely underserved field,” Greg said. “We wanted to help create an avenue for members of this community to not only find their way into healthcare but also be able to financially make it possible.”

Lisa added, “I am proud to work in healthcare, serving the community we live in. Through this contribution, we are excited to support future nurses and the mission of Ivy Tech.”

The Conners emphasize the importance of having healthcare professionals from Hamilton County serving their own community.

“A big part of healthcare is about relating to your patients,” Lisa said. “You’re often interacting with people at the most vulnerable times in their lives. Having local professionals who share a connection with the community is vital.”

Ivy Tech Hamilton County Chancellor Dr. Rachel Kartz expressed her gratitude for the Conners’ generous donation.

“The Ivy Cares Nursing Emergency Fund will be a lifeline for our nursing students,” Dr. Kartz said. “Greg and Lisa’s commitment to supporting healthcare education in Hamilton County reflects the very best of community partnership. Their contribution will have a lasting impact on our students and the broader healthcare landscape in our county.”

Outside of their professional commitments, the Conners remain active in the local community. Greg serves as President of the Friends of Central Pool, which operates the Forest Park Aquatic Center, while Lisa volunteers with Hinkle Creek Elementary and serves as President of the Noblesville Swim Club Board of Directors.

“We are so fortunate to live in such a great community,” Greg said. “Noblesville and Hamilton County mean the world to our family, and we are firmly committed to helping ensure future generations have an even greater experience.”
