Westfield Fire appoints Fuller as Deputy Fire Marshal

Congratulations to Mark Fuller on his appointment to Deputy Fire Marshal.

Fuller’s responsibilities will include fire investigation; software management used for code enforcement, pre-plans, etc.; assuring compliance, proper installation, and maintenance of the commercial Knox Box security system; building inspections; residential smoke alarm assistance; and working with youth fire setters. In addition to these duties, he will assist the Fire Marshal with new construction plan reviews.

Fuller began his fire service in 2006 with Greenfield Fire Department (now the Greenfield Fire Territory) and joined Westfield Fire Department in 2008. He later became the department’s first full-time fire inspector in 2022.

Deputy Fire Marshal Fuller brings a wealth of knowledge, ideas, and attention to detail, which will continue to ensure the building of a safe city for the business community, places of worship, recreation facilities, as well as keeping those who use them safe.
