STAR Bank announced Tuesday the promotions of Jenifer Porter and Alicia Lynch to the role of Market Managers as part of the bank’s new expanded model, recognizing their significant contributions to the bank’s success.
“I’m thrilled to roll out the Market Manager position to both our North and South regions,” said Mike Wallace, President of Retail Banking for STAR. “This position will allow for teams to continue to focus on growth while delivering relevant products to our customer base. I have no doubt that the individuals selected for the position will see continued success.
Porter has been with STAR for 17 years and has served most recently as the Training Branch Manager. She is passionate about training, motivating and inspiring people to do their best. During her tenure, she has served customers at the five branches in the Indianapolis region. She will now oversee STAR’s Monument Circle, Meridian, Harrison Center, Zionsville, and Greenfield branches.
Lynch has been with STAR for over 22 years and most recently served as the Market Manager in the Anderson market. She is a graduate of Indiana University Kelley School of Business and is looking forward to working in Hamilton County as she will oversee the bank’s Noblesville, Westfield, Olio Road, 96th Street, and Carmel branches.

At STAR, the Market Manager is responsible for the overall retail sales within a market, including daily sales, service, and operations for a full-service bank branch as well as customer solutions support. Market Managers serve in multiple branch roles to accomplish objectives.
