A comeback by the Hamilton Heights girls basketball team fell short on Tuesday, as the Huskies fell to North Miami 43-37 in a home game.
The Warriors outscored Heights in the first three quarters, leading 12-6 after one period and 25-14 at halftime. North Miami led 41-24 going into the fourth; the Huskies blasted through the quarter by outscoring the Warriors 13-2, but North Miami held on for the win.
Kamryn Rhoton led Heights with 10 points, with Sarah Sherrill adding nine points. Reece Blanton dominated the boards with 11 rebounds. Abi Hilfiker had eight rebounds and Presley Cherry collected six.
The Huskies are 4-12 and host Westfield on Saturday afternoon.
