Hamilton Southeastern Schools announced Wednesday evening a 3 percent pay raise for support staff (non-certified) across the district, capped at a maximum increase of $1,400. In addition, a few positions will receive further salary adjustments to reflect changes in their scope of work.
Superintendent Pat Mapes and his executive leadership team will not receive any pay increases. However, administrators will receive a $1,400 increase. This decision was approved by the Hamilton Southeastern Board of School Trustees during their meeting on Wednesday.
“We are grateful for the dedication and hard work of our support staff, and we thank the Board of Trustees for approving the pay increases,” Mapes said. “From bus drivers and food service workers to custodians and administrative professionals, these individuals are the backbone of Hamilton Southeastern. By providing this increase, we hope to show our appreciation and support for their essential roles in the success of all students.”
The announcement follows the Board of Trustees’ recent approval of the 2024-25 teacher contract, which included a base salary increase of $1,400 for returning teachers, along with other financial benefits.
Employees hired after July 1, 2024, will not be eligible for this increase raise as their 2024-25 pay was determined at the time of hire.
